Filipino Hoops and Heritage Night” was held by the Atlanta Hawks on Friday, March 5, 2010 during its game against the Golden State Warriors at the PHILIPS Arena. The event is a first for the Atlanta Hawks. Raymond Townsend, the first and only Filipino NBA basketball player, is teaming with the Atlanta Hawks to produce a unique celebration of Filipino heritage.
